Latina feminista poet and SSU WGS and Queer Studies alumnae Bianca Tonantzin Zamora (she/her) explores her journey with the complexities of uplifting self, familial, and romantic love as a Queer femme. This arts-based talk unveils how internalized sexism, racism, and homophobia shape relationships and the lifelong journey of reclaiming power and queer love. She leads diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives at Stanford. Bianca was recognized nationally on the Honor 41 queer Latinx role models list and serves as Board of Director for Silicon Valley Pride and organizer for Hey Girl!; a femme and queer community group.
