Queer Sri Lankan writer and performer Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha is the author of the Lambda Award winning Love Cake and Consensual Genocide and co-editor of The Revolution Starts At Home: Confronting Intimate Violence in Activist Communities. She co-founded the queer and trans people of color performance tour Mangos With Chili, is a lead artist with Sins Invalid and teaches with UC Berkeley's June Jordan's Poetry for the People.
